2023 Sauvignon Blanc, Rutherford

Our 2023 Sauvignon Blanc hails from the renowned Alasce Block in the McGah Family Vineyard in Rutherford, a site celebrated for producing some of Napa Valley’s most refined expressions of the varietal. Crafted from 100% Sauvignon Blanc and aged in 100% new French oak, this wine boasts a rich, structured mouthfeel with bright, complex aromas that promise to evolve beautifully with age.

Lifted and refreshing aromas leap from the glass, revealing notes of apricot, Marcona almond, jasmine, and creamy citrus notes tinged with vanilla. Beautifully round on entry and layered with pure fruit flavors redolent of yellow apple, pear, and ripe peach, with nuances of apricot cream and honeysuckle, all framed by rich textures, satiny tannins, and elegant baking spices from fermentation and aging in oak. All this is supported by zesty, mouthwatering acidity, which carries through on a long, mineral-driven finish.
